Interesting Involvement?

I decided to take a gander at the Wikipedia article on ProFootballTalk.com this evening.  My first visit.  My initial reaction was that the article read like an advertisement for the site.  Full of platitudes.  The stated goal of Wikipedia articles is to be impartial, facutal and objective.  Nothing about this entry is close.

I delved into the edit history.  Some random vandalism and a lot of grammatical and stylization edits.  There are also a number of edits to the prose.  Descriptions that are simply glowing platitudes.  Makes one wonder who exactly wrote this article.

Then I clicked into the discussion.  Lo and behold every responsible reader says the exact same thing.  The article needs massive overhauls.  Not to mention that there is only 1 item in the notable errors section.

I'm going to keep my eye on this article and look for any further suspect editing.  I might even contribute to cleaning it up.
