Warner Contemplates Retirement Because of Loss?

A regular post from PFT generally follows a pattern.  First, Florio gives credit to another journalist.  Without linking to the actual article he reproduces the important aspects of the column.  Then he inserts the money shot:  his own commentary.

Here's a perfect example:

After regurgitating Adam Schefter's well researched report on Kurt Warner, Florio goes for the money shot.  "Not bad for a guy who nearly retired after the Cardinals were blown off the field by the Jets." is the quote.

The problem is that he makes it seem as though Warner contemplated retirement because of the loss to the Jets.  In actuality, Warner contemplated the retirement after Anquan Boldin had his face broken on a vicious hit.
